KING'S X: Album Title Changed, Artwork Posted Online
August 1, 2005Texas-based rock trio KING'S X have changed the title of their new CD to "Ogre Tones" from the previously announced "Landscape". The CD is due on September 27 via InsideOut Music America.
Commented frontman Doug Pinnick: "I made up the name 'Landslide', and we all agreed, but the record company didnt like it. We had 'Ogre Battle' as a working title so we just used it. The change happend a few weeks ago. I jumped the gun on that one. We asked the artist to listen to the CD and come up with a cover. He came up with several similar ideas. We picked this one... like it of hate it.... same as it ever was."

KING'S X also plan to shoot videos for two singles from the album, their first promotional clips since 1998's "Tapehead". They will be directed by Dr. Teeth, who has helmed videos that are all over MTV for artists such as new hip-hop sensation MIKE JONES.
